Our Work & philosophy
LOVE & LIBERTY is a non-profit global organisation focusing on helping women and girls become empowered so that they can carve independence, overcome challenges and resolve mindset-related hurdles. At LOVE & LIBERTY we firmly believe that focusing on women’s empowerment and wellbeing will help eradicate globally reaching issues such a domestic violence, homelessness and unemployment that actively limit the quality of women's lives globally.
01
We believe in the funademental necessity of viewing ourselves, as women, kindly. Studies demonstrate an intrinsic link between low self-worth and staying in abusive or harmful relationships, and not taking steps towards one's goals. LOVE & LIBERTY promotes the importance of fostering a strong sense of self-love, and embarking on a journey towards healing, growth and happiness, with the belief that this is imperative to overcoming the challenges that are holding women back from overcoming mental health challenges, becoming a better version of themselves, or being able to fulfil their potential.
02
We encourage women to embrace the present moment, and learn to release the past, so that they can begin rewriting a new chapter in their story. We work closely with women to help them reframe their narrative from being a victim of circumstance, to one of being a strong, capable survivor.
03
We believe in the importance of providing women with the tools they need to thrive and grow - whilst offering them support and accountability - so that they can build the confidence and self-belief required, to begin making strides towards their chosen path or life goals.
04
We believe that a primary factor in the long term suffering of women at the hands of a male abuser, is their fear or belief that they cannot be independent, that they do not deserve better, or that they lack the confidence needed to pursue change, walk away, or to reenter the workplace. Working with our volunteers, helps women overcome these limiting beliefs so that they can muster the strength to walk away from dependency or abuse, and towards a life of freedom and autonomy instead.
Saying NO to Abuse
There are intrinsic and verified links between women's safety and women's wellbeing.
Embracing Ourselves
It is proven that the more we curate a strong self image, the more we believe in ourselves and our ability to foster independence. Working on one's mindset is therefore imperative to building the confidence needed to pursue change.
