LOVE & LIBERTY is a non-profit global organisation focusing on helping women and girls become empowered so that they can carve independence, overcome challenges and resolve mindset-related hurdles. At LOVE & LIBERTY we firmly believe that focusing on women’s empowerment and wellbeing will help eradicate globally reaching issues such a domestic violence, homelessness, poverty and unemployment.
how we formed
The drive behind the organisation originated from our Founder's history. Both as a student of Politics and Law, and through her own experiences, our female founder, Leila Lerari, has always had a strong sense of injustice, and a true passion for women's rights and equality. She has the desire that no woman should ever be made to feel like she has no choices in life, is powerless, helpless or under control, and that she has access to the important tools needed to help women and girls across the world overcome their traumas, challenges, and emotional scarring, that is in turn, holding so many capable individuals back from being able to carve out a different future for themselves.

Mission
We aim to remove the barriers women and girls face, starting from home in the UK, and spanning across the world. Providing fully funded wellbeing support to underprivileged or impoverished females globally, we can begin eradicating mental health issues (that are currently affecting almost 30% of women worldwide), helping women free themselves from abusive relationships (that are currently affecting an estimated 25% of women worldwide), begin instilling confidence and self-belief in women so they can pursue independecne and no longer feel like they need to live in fear, and overall, help to make women's lives happier and more enjoyable.

Vision
Over the next 5 years, we want to have helped thousands of women get back into work, overcome some of the mental health challenges they have been facing and improve the livelihoods of women and girls worldwide. Our funding will help increase our capacity to help, from hiring trained counsellors and coaches to guide and support women and girls, to discover and fulfil their potential, we predetermine that we will witness a decline in the mental health issues women face, the amount of women who are under financial control or experiencing domestic abuse, and the amount of women who are unemployed or living on the breadline.
how we do it
We believe strongly that tackling the problems at the root, instead of masking them with short-term remedies is the answer to resolving severe social and political issues, both at home and wider a field. It is scientifically proven that women who are able to foster a mindset of self-belief, confidence and control over their lives, have access to opportunities have a higher likelihood of being able to make strides towards their financial independence, development and freedom. At LOVE & LIBERTY, we provide women with tangible resources and strategies to help them foster positive habits, overcome past traumas, and begin paving the way for a better future.
